All things Web 2.0

I haven't been posting much here, but I have been using Web 2.0 regularly. My most favorite sites that I use regularly are delicious, and Shelfari. I love to use delicious to keep track of my bookmarks, especially since I work on multiple computers. I also save sites as they come recommended in e-mails so that if I am every researching that subject, I can see what e-mails I've collected on that topic already. I've heard of people doing research using delicious by looking up what other people have bookmarked on the topic but was not able to use it with the classroom because it comes up with some unsavory suggestions. For example, my freshmen do a report on Health topics and one topic is "Date Rape." While testing out the applications of delicious, I tried this one and got a "how to" site. Not so good to demonstrate to high school freshmen.

Shelfari is my favorite place to keep track of books. I love the shelf with the book covers. The Quick Picks committee recommended using Good Reads, which has more content, but not as cute a display.
